A Beautiful Sight...

A clean, shiny sink! I know, I know..."a sink, big deal!" For "normal" people it's an everyday thing. But to a s.h.e. like me, a clean sink is a day for celebration. The kitchen sink is the place to start if you are feeling overwhelmed by a disorderly home. It's a fast project that brings a great deal of satisfaction. Now if I could just get the other 99.9% of my home clean it would be a joyous day!

Objects of Joy

Owl (created by Abi Rose 8) watches over my kitchen and is a true pal who listens to my grumbles while I throw dinner together then throw said dinner down the disposal after it is pushed around 3 children's plates.

Wolfie was carved by Abi with the mother of pearl handled pocket knife that belonged to my Granny. It was given to me by Gran when I was 8. How grown up I felt with the weight of that knife in my pocket. I felt I could conquer the world. I gave it to Abi just before her 8th birthday. My eyes welled up with pride and love when she gave me Wolfie. I know she worked so very hard on him. She proudly showed me her wounds from art...a nicked finger.

Sigh...my favorite soup bowl after a fatal encounter with Charlie Brown, our chocolate lab. I tried to fix it but it's a lost cause. Good excuse to get a whole new matching set though!

Felty Friends

Who is Spring Bean?

Hi! I am Missy a sahm to 3 and wife to Ken. I started selling boutique childrens clothes on Ebay about two years ago. spring*bean is my ebay id. http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=spring*bean Sewing is my passion in life. Plus I have a minor addiction to fabric.

One of my newest hobbies are these japanese felted figures. Aren't they adorable? Surprisingly simple to make and kids adore them. I made these from this fun book...

I'm addicted and have 3 more books on the way, including a Hello Kitty one.
